NAKHON PATHOM: -- Police are investigating a big Thai run fencing operation after the arrest of four foreign thieves.

Arrested were three Colombian nationals and a Pakistani. They had stolen jewelry and gold worth millions of baht from a judge's house in Nakorn Pathom, reports Daily News.

But police discovered that the stolen goods were being handled at a house in Bangkok and two Thais have been arrested on charges of receiving stolen goods.

Bangkok police believe this is only the tip of the iceberg, however, and intend to go after all those behind the scenes. Much jewelry and gold from other thefts committed by the gang remains unaccounted for.

Arrested on Friday were Colombian nationals Sean Pierre Andres, Enrico Ortega and Benjamin Lopez and Chek Mohammad Salim Rathputh from Pakistan. They had stolen goods from a judge's house in Nakorn Pathom.

Expanding the enquiry Region 10 police in Bangkok under the leadership of Suwira Songmetta raided a house in Boromratchaneenat Soi 4, Bang Plat at the weekend.

Arrested for fencing stolen goods were Kanchana Prasongserinon and Chatchawan Laowanna, the owners of the house.

Much of the judge's possessions were found including anklets, a wedding ring, diamonds and watches. The house was set up as a gold business but had no license to operate. Some important evidence in the form of paperwork had been burned.

On Sunday Suwira said that there are many others behind the operation. There is also a considerable amount of jewelry and half a kilo of gold from other robberies unaccounted for. People who think they have been the victims of the gang are urged to contact Pho Kaew police.

No license no crime?.........the paperwork being burned may have been a godsend for the jewellers       occcupants......

Good thing it happened to a HiSo otherwise these criminals might have gone unnoticed for years.  The man in charge seems to be of high rank.

To call the judge a HiSo is highly insultng. You ought to know better.  HiSo means someone who pretends to be high-class when they are not. They are despised by people of all classes. If The judge in question read your post, you could be in deep trouble.
