Joint Command Center for Peace and Order around Grand Palace to relocate cooking tents after 100th day of late monarch’s passing

BANGKOK, 13 January 2017 (NNT) – The Joint Command Center for Peace and Order around the Grand Palace will be relocating the food tents the from Sanam Luang area after the 100th day of His late Majesty’s passing. 

Assistant to First Army Region Commander Thani Chuichai said that the Joint Command Center for Peace and Order around the Grand Palace has agreed to relocate the cooking tents around Sanam Luang, to create a better environment after the 100th day of His Late Majesty’s passing. 

The Phranakhon District Office has been assigned to prepare a new venue for the cooking tents, while the Health Department has also been assigned to inspect food hygiene. 

After the 100th day of His late Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s passing, each ministry, will take turns to prepare food for the mourners. Each month, three ministries will be assigned to manage the relocated food tents.
