impartialobserver
Where's the best place to get midcentury modern furniture replicas (knock-off Eames chairs etc.) in Bangkok?
Thainess
Depends what century you mean. If you mean 15th century medieval furniture, you might have some trouble.
dddave
Thong Lo has many specialty furniture showrooms and will probably be the most likely place to find retro styles. Bring money...lots of it. Also, a lot of mixed styles in a variety of stores in "Design Square", on the Bang Na-Trat Rd. about 1km past Central Bang-Na, same side. 3rd & 4th floors have smaller specialty shops. Actually, very easy to go to by bus. Along Sukhumvit take either the #38 or #48 (yellow is a.c.) and it will drop you at the door. bdevaux
Norman Rhodes Designs, which has a website, has Eames knockoffs as well as other knockoffs. And, there's also TUBA, which is a restaurant, gallery and furniture shop, on Ekkamai Soi 21. I haven't been there for a while but they used to have Scandinavian Modern furniture.
