Five southern provinces warned of landslides, more flooding

Five southern provinces will have to brace for possible landslides and recurring floods, as heavy downpours are again spreading over their areas. 

 

The Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Department (DPMD) Monday announced that at risk were Chumphon, Surat Thai, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung and Songkhla. 

 

These five provinces were among eight provinces to face heavy rain at least until tomorrow.

15/01/2017 - 23.7mm

16/07/2017 - 60.8mm, over half of which fell in the 3 hours to 7am today.
