I saw that Korn Chatikavanij posted something on his facebook page about the tip box at Khon Kaen Immigration.

Does anyone here actually pay these police extra money for services?

Does anyone know if the tip box is still there?

He asked me to find out so he can take further action, if it is indeed still there.

It is now on a back table last time I saw it there, disgusting to me. I really wish people that think tipping government workers gets them anything other than a smile to the dumb farang would consider the other people that now are expected to tip to get anything done in a timely manner. Lets face it gov. jobs pay well for the job market here thats why everyone wants one. Wake up and quit condoning corruption !!!

The tip box has always been near the photo copy machine as far as I know.

Last time I was there they just charged 5 Baht per copy.

No need for another thread on the Khon Kaen tip box.
