Children's movies

Featured Replies

The cinemas here really do miss a trick when it comes to showing films & cartoons for children.

Yet again there is not one single film showing that I can bring mine to.

It's a great treat for them & easy money for the cinemas.

When I was a nipper there used to be Saturday morning shows for 2 bob that filled the place with gangs of noisy children.

Yes but now everyone has a smartphone with youtube  with cartoons for kids of every type.

You have not been here very long, plenty of animation, fun for the whole family.

Anything intellectual or not pure Hollywood crap doesn't last a week.

A long holiday weekend for most schools so I had a look to see if there were any films that I could bring my children to see & it's the same cartoon that's already being shown for the last 2-3 weeks.

They really are missing a trick with a least a 1/3 of the screens in town showing the same films just at different times.

I'd love to bring them to see the likes of Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang or Charlie & the Chocolate Factory on the big screen.

They often show re-runs of old films in both the US & UK during the school hols because they actually make money.
