webfact
That's not our bus - transport department deny 20-seater is minivan replacement Picture: Sanook BANGKOK: -- The Land Transport department have said that a minibus widely reported as a replacement for minivans last week is not one of theirs. Pictures of the minibus - a Hino 20 seater - were shared last week along with an announcement they would be used on routes of more than 150 kilometers in length out of Bangkok. The one in our picture has the markings that it is indeed a service of the Land Transport department to Cha-Am. But the department denied this yesterday saying that the one pictured is registered to a firm called PR Supply Co Ltd. The land department said their 55 vehicles planned for 13 routes out of the capital would have 22 seats not 20. zorro1
The big question is who's going to drive these buses.Sent from my SM-P901 using Thaivisa Connect mobile appHopefully a few hundred drivers will be easier to trane . The buses are infinitely safer than the vans which were mostly commercial vehicles with after market seats fitted. The side intrusion bars on minivans were designed to protect boxes, not humans! A bus is a bus - they all crash the same way: driver .... - falls asleep - drunk - drugged out - speeds - runs away

Or one of the front seats for the driver and the seat next to the driver to carry his 5 cases of Red Bull. Let the Demolition Derby begin!!!
