Pattaya - Hua Hin ferry: company upbeat as ferry begins charging

Featured Replies

I just wanna know two things:

--who exactly is the anonymous company/officials operating this service (beyond just the company name that's been publicly used)?

--now that the test period over over, is the Royal Navy ship going to continue to shadow the ferry back and forth on every trip as a kind of, for lack of a better term, Thai life insurance policy?

The Submarine will take over ,then the Battleship can resume Fishing Trips

If you're one of the tiny percentage of people in Thailand who actually own a car here...  Most tourists don't, either.

Tiny percentage, almost every Thai I know has a car!

Had to laugh when I read that, as if all the insane traffic are foreigner only

You can take your own tiny circle as the number, or you can actually look it up.  After subtracting taxis, vans, buses, trucks and other commercial vehicles from the total number of 4 wheeled vehicles in Thailand, the percentage of people who own a car is tiny.

The percentage of foreign tourists who buy one on holiday in Thailand is even tinier.

I am not leaving my Pattaya Bar Stool until they lower the price...

Who needs them a lot more Chang beer happy happy hours in Pattaya

than Hua Hin...

I'm kinda relieved at the higher price threshold keeping the lower class  cheap charlies out off the boat and out of Hua Hin.  Such a miserable depressing bunch of tight wads.

Absurd. Most Thais are too poor to own a car.  The struggle to own a motorbike.  You  seem to live in an elitist fantasy land.

Ok we get it you live on a farm somewhere. In the next decade if you venture to bangkok, have a look inside the thousands of cars in traffic and you will see 1000 to 1 thais vs farang
