Myanmar passport was thought lost in Thailand.  Later found it, but only after reporting it lost and getting new passport issued from Myanmar.  Old passport still has valid 60-day tourist visa in it which was used to enter Thailand originally.  Can I still use the tourist visa in my old passport when flying out of Bangkok?  I didn't reported the old passport as lost to Thai police.

When your passport was "lost" your entry into Thailand remained valid. The visa itself is used anyway, and thus of no further value. Finding the old passport is useful in that explanations on exit will be easier. You can show both passports, in which case the tourist entry (not the visa) will be transferred to the new passport before you are stamped out. This is probably the correct procedure, as technically the old passport is no longer valid for travel. If you just leave on the old passport, this will likely be allowed, but an eagle eyed immigration official may wonder later why your new passport lacks stamps.

Don't try to use a passport that's been reported lost and replaced.

You should inform your embassy, or passport office, that you have now located it as it may have been listed on an alert list.

The stay related to the visa is still valid and, if the visa is for multiple  entry and not expired, it could, theoretically, be used for further entry.  I would advise you see the Thai embassy before trying this.

My experience would suggest otherwise however it was about five years ago so things may have changed.

My wife washed my passport while we were back in the UK. Fortunately we were in Glasgow, where there is a passport office, so I managed to get a replacement overnight. I went in and out of Thailand every 28 days for about another nine months using my new passport but showing my Non Imm O visa in the old washed out one.

I should say that obviously my passport hadn't been reported lost. I'm only pointing out that I was able to use the two passports albeit the one with the visa was no longer valid for travel.

Using a visa in a cancelled passport is very dooable, using a visa in a second passport that has been reported lost but has not been cancelled, especially when presented along side a second valid uncancelled passport is a recipe for disaster. Thai Immigration has no means of checking to see if that second Myanmar passport has been reported lost and duly cancelled, all they see is one person p-resenting two valid passports, one containing a visa. I'm pretty sure that would raise alarm bells.

And if you have reported a passport lost/stolen and then find it again, trying to use it in your home country at the border will result in it being confiscated, simply because it's a lost/stolen passport as far as your home country Immigration is concerned. As said earlier, been there/done that at Heathrow when entering and lost all stamps and visa's in the process.

If you didn't report it lost to thai police and if you received a new while staying in Thailand and has no stamp on it, from my point of view you can exit the country using the old without showing the new. If instead you have an entry stamp on the new, but I don't think so, how did you exit before?

I suppose you have an old with visa and entry stamp and a new without any stamp received while you already in Thailand.

You should explain with more details.......

New passport is blank, while old passport has arrival stamp. I had thought maybe there's a common inter-country database (like Interpol) where lost passports are reported, so the thai immigration officer could see it was lost and no longer valid. But if that's not the case, then although I'm happy to show both passports, I suppose I could just exit through immigration with the old passport to keep it simple and avoid confusing the officer and causing problems. I can use my new passport for the flight and entering American, which is where I have a green card. Then if anybody at any of these stages has any questions, I can show them the other passport (new or old) and explain what happened.

I don't know the relationship between Myanmar and Interpol.

However, I can assure you Interpol works with most countries to put together alert lists of stolen, lost or revoked passports because of the possibility of terrorists and criminals using these documents to cross borders.

I would strongly advise against trying to travel on the cancelled passport as you may end up inside an IDC trying to explain.

If you must, carry both passports , but be prepared to explain why you still hold a document you reported lost.

A simple phone call to your Embassy could save a lot of potential hassle.

Suggestion of Old Croc could be wise and announce to where you told (Myanmar Embassy?) your passport was lost that you found It. They can cancel the note, give you a revalidation paper and you can leave Thailand Safely. In America you can use the one connected to green card If there Is the number on It.

I have used 2 passports In USA cause had the Indefenitely multiple entry visa on the old expired one and they accepted the first to put stamp on the new one.
