Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said Monday that he would be unable to do anything if his horoscope was not promising, as had been predicted by a well-known fortune teller.

The prime minister said he would heed such a warning although he saw no need to change anything in order to help “improve my horoscopic future”.

Prayut added that he did not rely on any fortune teller when leading the coup in 2014.

There must be both 4-legged fortune tellers and 2-legged fortune tellers?

Stock up on amulets.

Who ya gonna call?

Somebody hasn't been doing their mandatory Wednesday exercise.

May be he can tell the international community that elections will be further delayed because his horoscopic future isn't looking right.

I'm sure they will understand as usual.

... then again, why not, nothing wrong with cutting up a couple chicken, drink the blood & nail them to some doors ...

"...Prayut said he would be unable to do anything if his horoscope was not promising..."

Even if that horoscope was promising, he's still unable to do anything !!!

He needs to forget about improving his horoscopic future, and instead reflect on what a former soothsayer said about him almost two years ago, and what the junta also said then about the "government" keeping to a schedule that included elections in early 2016. So the PM will not rely on witch doctors, fortune tellers, medicine men or voodoo priests to tell him when to hold a democratic election. Might be better if he did so the country might start to go forward.

Which is why he is selective with his voodoo. He doesn't want the country to go forward, his plan is to go backwards to the golden times when everyone knew their place. A time when the poor sold their vote because whoever they voted for they got nothing and they put no hope in politicians.

What a nasty man Thaksin was for teaching them that in a democracy their vote counted.

Can you imagine world leaders being briefed on Prayuths lastest statements.

After the initial, "who is Prayuth"?, "the PM of Taiwan".

Lets send him a voodoo doll in the mail, hell probably consider it an assination threat.

He makes it very hard to argue that all men are equal.

Being a fortune teller for the elite is a great job, until it isn't.

Most of these fortune tellers who meet an early demise, owing to some rare blood disorder (like bleeding out), usually don't see it coming. Which obviously calls into question their "ability".

Did he Tweet this or is it just fake news? Maybe the fortune teller is using alternative facts. WDF! Why would he even respond to such predictions? This all sounds so familiar to another dictator in the making doesn't it?

Puts dear PM ahead of GW Bush who had chat with "higher father" (rather than actual father who had experience with war in Iraq) before starting disastrous invasion....

Don't worry Pm: I checked the coffee grounds at bottom of my pot this morning about your future. So bright ya gotta wear shades.

Can someone enlighten me why most of the fortune tellers are plying their trades along five foot ways?

I imagine many of us could, for a small "donation"?

Enlightenment ain't free.

I sincerely think that this country has served a lot better under his leadership as apposed to the previous years and decades of recent history. Not sure Thailand is ready for actual democracy.

What a shame!!! you want your country of origin to be democratic and you don't think Thai people deserve democracy. You should think twice before posting such nonsense. Let always people choose their own leaders and destiny.....
