Shock horror, who would stoop so low as to do such a thing.

Need to see the  discs before i can comment further.

I notice the copper has an edition of Playboy there, strictly for 'research' you understand.

Believe it or not, not all attractive women in Thailand are bar girls (read prostitute).  Most Thai women are extremely conservative, but many punters here would not know that, because these women don't hang out in bars, don't talk to foreign strangers, and usually don't speak English.

Just  two more "wannabies" seeking some more free publicity

I wonder who will be next to come out of the "I've been hurt" wardrobe!!!!

Can you imagine going to the police, and asking for help with something like this? Copyright infringement, or illegal use of imagery, or whatever the crime may be called, is way, way over the heads of these guys. I cannot even begin to imaging their motivation, nor the idea they had in their heads. The only thing that comes to mind is the possibility of self promotion. It is the only thing that makes sense. Who ever heard of the police here solving a crime like this one? And why would that even get involved?

Thanks for the advice...

"dirty CDs"? They mean "sex CDs" surely? Or is sex now dirty in Thailand?

Always wash first. As my old grandmother used to say cleanliness is next to Godliness.

OMG!  Men having sex with women!!  Unheard of!  Surely not in Thailand?  Dirty, dirty, dirty!  This could tarnish not only the image of these two "models" but Thailand's puritan image as well.

Yes Thailand has been hiding this light under a bushel basket to long.

Well all these "Pretties" as the Thai call them and so called models certainly don't make the money they are flashing about just by standing next to cars and modelling a couple of times a month.  According to the Thai girls sitting next to me right now, these girls make the big money by <deleted>$%king all the high-so men and being their Mia Noi and Giks for a couple of hundred thousand baht at a time.

All makes sense now they want to preserve their sterling reputation. This kind of publicity is bad for business.

actually they probably have a good case, no idea why they went to the police though, they should just get a good lawyer

Police are cheaper and when comparing lawyers and cops its a crap shoot at best.

I am offering my free legal aid and I will fight this travesty of justice by working with the girls on their case long into the night, night and day, all day and night, no matter long it takes, until we prevail in court.

They could be Toms. Or Dees.

Imagine if someone took one of your photos and put it on the cover of a gay porn DVD; I just bet you would be highly impressed with that little stunt....................;)

In all seriousness though, IMO they are quite right to go chasing the people who used the images. Not that I think they will get too far though.

Just wondering whether these Playboy models (what sort of image does 'Playboy model' bring to mind - perhaps a school teacher?) have ever used other people images / photos with not one thought about permission to use?

So they pose naked and then cry cos someone published their pic on a dirty CD, honestly you can't help feel sorry for these two sweet innocent girls can you?

And now their pictures being published everywhere, I feel so sorry for them. Everyone will recognise them now. I hope the police drop everything they are doing so they can catch those naughty naughty men.

Oh, that is quite possible; the embarrassment & consequences don't come home until it has happened to you.

Frankly, I don't have that much sympathy for these two, anyone who is prepared to flaunt it must realize the photos will end up in someone's collection at the very least. The ones I do feel sorry for are the complete innocents who, much of the time, don't even realize the photos have been taken, but end up plastered across some dodgy advertising somewhere.

Well, in a country with extremely soft views on copyright laws, and a former head of intellectual property stealing pics, what did they expect?

No one asked my permission in my work when they put my pics on their Facebook page and homepage.

Again, ladies. Go to the police without having the press there. You have a genuine grievance but this isn't the way to go about it.

Your wrong, nothing would be done without publicity.

I wouldn't have put pix of women aged 28 and 30 on the front cover.

Unless they were under the <deleted> category  . . . .

You need your eyes checked. There's nothing old about these ladies.
