We are a parent-led organisation  offering a child-centered approach for students of varied backgrounds.  The kids are  aged 3-7 years but we will grow as the children grow. There are 24 children enrolled at the moment.  Our approach is built around the observation that children thrive when given the chance to explore their own ideas and learn at the their own pace. We encourage learning through monitored play, imitation and problem solving in a safe environment.  Our aim is to foster imagination and respect in the multicultural setting we're in, helping the children flourish as individuals who care about each other - to prepare them for formal learning in later years.

There are two positions we're looking for: 

 

1. School Principal

2. Kindergarten/primary level school teacher

 

If timing is not quite right for you, we are looking to create a database of teachers anyway so it would be great to receive resumes if you are interested.

 

The school principal role above is a challenging one.  It would involve leading the school as we grow and we would expect more than just the hours written into the contract.  We see this person taking on the day-to-day schooling of the kids but also taking on the higher level role of growing the school.

 

The package is fairly attractive and includes a competitive salary for Pai, a work visa, accommodation and health insurance.

 

The contract hours are 8am-4pm and we would offer a 1 year contract to be extended on an ongoing basis for the right candidate.
