Buying a condo : Pattaya Waterfront

Recommended Posts

Yes, absolutely the word on the street is spot on at this point in time. Not many people are lucky enough to be the right person, in the right spot, in the right place!  I would jump on it and get all of my friends to buy one as well.

Please inform where I can send my full cash payment. I haven't felt so good about a deal like this since helping the nice Nigerian man who emailed me asking to help him get his money out of his country's bank. I only had to send him my bank account number and a small fee.

Interesting !  so the new Major (can I assume you mean new Mayor ? )

has managed to "smooth over"  all the building permit problems and construction will resume shortly ?

Maybe they used article 44 to "cut through all that red tape"

Sorry, autocorrect " Mayor " apparently this project don't have any trust among the reading public here!

I was under the impression that a few of the top floors have to be shaved off and it's business as usual. The Mayor made it all happened, he pulled the right strings.

Their website is here : http://www.waterfrontpattaya.com/home.php

The offer on the table is 70% down payment now and receive a 30% discount.

I might pull the trigger here!

A Tulip owner by the name of Kobo Elbaz reached out and confirmed now is the time to buy. The project just had a major turnaround due to the new major!

Well of course he would say that.

The new Mayor just got the promotion last Thursday and said his top priorities are to make sure that running water and electricity supply as well as traffic condition in Pattaya are managed effectively and they function smoothly.

Nope, bugger all about finishing the Waterfront there.

 70% upfront payment on an unfinished condo..who said there are no casinos in Pattaya.
why not wait till it's finished when they can compete with the 30,000 other condo units looking for a buyer.

That's not the word on the street. Keep your ear to the ground.

If there is new information from the construction company then please post it here so everyone can benefit from that information

no need to keep it "secret"

Sounds like a deal that is too good to miss with only a 70% payment upfront on an unfinished condo without legal planning permission based on a rumour.

I could possibly take 3 units though unfortunately my capital is currently tied up and i need to pay a release fee to free it up so can offer you a 10% cut on the full unit price if you could just lend me 5% of the cost which is what i would need to free up my overseas funds. Currently struggling to set up a thai bank account so would probably be best if you can make the transfer in bitcoins.

I have a few friends interested as well so if you play your cards right you could end up with a condo yourself without it costing you anything.

I think we have a new troll on the block. But he's been amusing so far and the replies have been entertaining as well.

Suan Sawarn took 100% down payments.

I think that was some 10 years ago, and sold out in no time. Can anyone check if it is finished yet lol

I never buy a condo until entirely finished.   Way too risky.  Especially this building you're discusing .   Tulip marketed a huge project called centara grand just up the beach from me    .   I almost was stupid enough to buy.  As far as I can see not much has happened there. There's still units available at the Base.   It's totally finished and ready to occupy.   Be very wary in this market.

I think it sounds like a really sound investment. If I had the money I would be all over it. Why do some people always have to be so wary and suspicious of everything? Is that any way to go through life?

I like the location and the finished product looks good on paper, but it's a lot of cash to be throwing out there. If the developers really have juice with the mayor and the project is restarting I might consider.

You of course know that Pattaya has just had a new mayor appointed by our military government

So I wouldn't count too much on the developers "juice"
