Anyone know about this? I keep getting tips all the time, and one time I tried one of these tips, and it gave me problems, another one

came this morning which I found very interesting, it was about downloading something that keeps your computer clean and makes it faster.

No money is ever asked for. Anyone got any thoughts on this?

Yeah. There's one born every minute.

If you have nothing sensible to say, just keep hiding behind your keyboard.

Where do you get these "tips" from?

A piece of software you downloaded because of another "tip" by any chance?

Usually these " download this program to clean and increase speed " adverts on the net invariably lead to analysing your computer for free and then trying to scare you into signing up by a big list of ( possible) threats on your computer.

I would avoid anything that is offered for free from someone you don't know !

Where are the Tips coming from Poss?

Mike Summers webminds, but I have never been asked to buy anything.

Noted you not made any purchases.

After checking them out through some searches and viewing their products which remind me of cheap rebrand software style products. I would give this tipster the elbow and find a more trusted source.

You can always ask on here too if you need I seen a fair bit of decent advice dished out.
