The military junta again reiterated it's non violent approach to resolve the stand-off between monks, followers of Phra  Dhammachayo and authorities.

The assurance of non violent action came from the spokesman of the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) Col Winthai Suvaree yesterday as both sides are still confronting each other in front of the temple.

It looks more like the monks are surpressing the military. I can see a few thousand amulet wearing monks chasing the military back to their barracks with Prayuth leading the way.

Of course it wont be difficult for the monks to get the military to surrender, its a well practiced tradition.

Yes but entertaining also watching the circus of Prayuth and his cohorts getting pushed around by a few monks.

It is the perfect example of Thai justice system failure, the powerful corrupt calling the shots, those who should be enforcing the law standing back and doing nothing and those in charge making numerous announcements that result in nothing.
