Jomtien - photocopying protocol

Featured Replies

For immigration forms longer than one side of A4, use both sides, i.e. the front and the back, of the piece of paper. An example of this would be the TM7, the form for extending permission to stay. (This has always been the case at all immigration offices)

However for photocopies of documents, Jomtien require each photocopy should be on a separate piece of paper not utilising the two sides but leaving the back blank. Failure to do this may well have you wasting time and money redoing your photocopies at the immigration office as well as being scolded by the officials for committing the crime of using both sides of the paper for your photocopies. An example of this would be the photocopies of the relevant pages of the passport which accompany most applications.

I hope this information helps somebody to achieve their extension with less hassle and less wasted time.
