Nepal4me
I realize I can buy aspirin at most pharmacies but they charge about 15 baht for 10 pills. I can buy a jar of 500 for about $3.50 in the US. Is there anyway to get cheaper aspirin here?

lopburi3
But remember that doctors here may be reluctant to prescribe aspirin due to bleeding concerns.
Sheryl
It does not cost anything like 15 baht for 10 tabs of locally made aspirin. Go to a real pharmacy (not a Boots or Watsons or other chain, a large Thai store selling drugs, not cosmetics).
ukrules
Does anyone have any idea what happened to Bayer Aspirin, the 500mg tablet versions ? They are no longer available anywhere as stocks appear to have depleted. I questioned a few pharmacists about this and none of them seem to have any idea. I suggested that it might be some dispute with the Thai FDA / government but they were quite clueless. Maybe I will phone Bayer and ask them directly if I get around to it. Sheryl
It is illegal only if they lack a grade one pharmacist on site. A prescription is not required and likely won't help. You may have to go into the provincial town to find a pharmacy with a "real" pharmacist.Sent from my SM-J701F using Thailand Forum - Thaivisa mobile app
