US and UK visas for Thai folks? My GF was denied twice recently  The second time she asked what to do to improve her chances, as she should be an ideal candidate... just bought a house and car, ninety year old parent, etc. They did not even permit her to show this data.
The suggestion was to establish a record of travelling in OTHER countries, and maybe a little more in the bank.
I do not know about the UK, but it seems Thai people are expected per US State Dept. etc. to try to become illegal immigrants.
