I think the police are just trying to lull them into a false sense of how serious their crime is/was. Saw the interview with the first 2 they were smirking and smiling for the Cameras, I hope they are crying their eyes out now. Hopefully "Mr Big" is looking for some company

Unfortunately there are many good people in Thai prisons because of a poor justice system, police fabrications etc. Solitary confinement would do him good. Actually come to think of it, a bullet is only 20 baht.

It's in cases like this where I would hope that the company employing the security guard would have his back.

 

Regardless of what the judicial sentencing is, they should be pushing for full compensation for this guy, from all 3 of these thugs.

 

Especially the smiling monkey who was the one that inflicted most damage while the guard was on the floor unconscious.

Most of the comments above remind me of the baying of the mob. Yes these guys should be punished for their clear-cut GBH, maybe even attempted murder. But at the end of the day, we live in a civilized society (even Thailand) and the rule of law based on ethics and decisions based on reason, not emotion.
