Abhisit still concerned about political party restrictions

Democrat Party leader Abhisit Vejjajiva said yesterday he was still concerned about the current limitations on party activities after the constitution was promulgated, but added that he believed that the junta would gradually loosen its grip.

Deputy rector steps down over asset declaration

A deputy rector at Prince of Songkla University has resigned due to the inability to prepare documents in time to meet the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC)’s request for asset declaration, university president Chusak Limsakul said on Thursday.

Only six passengers allowed in cargo bed of pickups during Songkran

Survey shows digital TV viewership increases to 86 percent and is going up

Digital viewership for the month of February increased to 86 percent compared to satellite and cable TV viewership which dropped to 14 percent, with viewership trend for satellite and cable TV steadily declining, said Mr Takorn Tanthasit, secretary-general of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission, on Thursday.

‘Disgruntled motorist’ smashes speed-detection camera in Songkhla
