GroveHillWanderer
Just a couple of quick questions (hopefully). When doing an extension of stay for a one-year visa, how long does the money have to be in the bank for: A) the first ever extension by reason of retirement? the first ever extension by reason of marriage? ubonjoe
For retirement it is 60 days for the first extension and 3 months after that. For marriage it is 2 months for every extension application.
Toosetinmyways
I had former retirement extensions which have not been renewed since 2 years ago (Out of the country). When I apply for a new extension in the next two months how long has the 800,000 to be seeded in the bank. 60 or 90 days? Will apply in BKK immigration. If it is the first extension with a new non-o visa entry it will be considered your first extension. Money only needs to be in the for 60 days.
