White House just declared war on the COVID conspirators
The lunatics are now running their own nonsense asylum, including with posts like the OP here: US political conservatives have deep, unbudging suspicion of science, survey suggests April 16, 2025 A University of Amsterdam study concludes that politically conservative Americans are more skeptical of science than previously thought, including that from fields that contribute to the economic growth and productivity they typically value. ... "Since the 1980s, trust of science among conservatives in America has even been plummeting," senior author Bastiaan Rutjens, PhD, said in a University of Amsterdam news release. "Science is also increasingly dismissed in some circles as a 'leftist hobby' and universities as strongholds of the leftist establishment." Climate, medical, social scientists most distrusted ... Conservatives were most skeptical of climate scientists, medical researchers, and social scientists. "This is likely because findings in these fields often conflict with conservative beliefs, such as a free-market economy or conservative social policies," Rutjens said. I vividly recall a statement of yours in which you opined that you were "poor" in Math. I do not say that you are poor in Math. I would say that you must be quite good in Math. I am just repeating one of your statements, stated in the Past. STATISTICS is a very difficult one-year course at uni. It is TOUGH, and many fail this class, or do poorly. Yet, for science, STATISTICS is crucial. And, for sure, even some smart scientists ask for collaboration from colleagues who are true experts in stats to do the stats-work when they publish a paper. Just saying.....
