April 13, 20178 yr I try to keep in thouch with my Farang friends in Thailand. Disturbing news have reached me concerning one of my friends. In short: Friend is married to Thai Lady, having 2 children together. Appearantly wife has left with the kids over a year ago. Destination unknown. Now, an aquaintance of my Farang friend, has informed him of the future plans of wife. She wants to: - File for divorce and aiming to get full custody of kids and collecting the full amount of child-support that is beeing paid by social-services from the home-country of my Farang friend. Note: As I gather, the amount that is beeing paid by home country-social-services amounts to 56'000 Bht per month for the 2 kids ! Don't know all the specific details concerning this situation/this marriage. But I just wonder: What are the chances that the plan of my friends wife will succeed ? Is it that easy ? Thanks & cheers.
