April 17, 20178 yr http://www.thailandpost.com/index.php?page=article_detail&topic_id=82&group_id=50&addon=product I would be grateful for information if there are anyone with experience using the above EMS service and comment on the reliability. Thanks Felt
April 17, 20178 yr Reliable door to door tracking. Very quick within Thailand but overseas varies dependent on the country and their clearance for customs etc. Still quicker than "Registered" service. Ultimately depends what you are sending, where, and how quick you need it there. Don’t miss the latest headlines from Thailand and around the world. April 17, 20178 yr +1 I have used it many times to UK with zero fails. That spells reliable for me. And I always use the cheapest option with tracking not expensive. 21 minutes ago, CharlieH said: Reliable door to door tracking. Letter to UK, 14 days 80 to 85 baht depending on weight with tracking. 1080 is for express service 3 to 5 days, not worth all that for the not so fast service. My letters usually take from 7 to 10 days. All ems mail to overseas is airmail.

Of course they are still slow, minimum 5 days, but airmail can take months when having bad luck !
April 17, 20178 yr How good is the tracking ? We sent a package SAL registered mail from BKK to the USA the tracking shows the day / time it was accepted and one more that it was sorted at Thai Post Thats all for the last 10 days , its hard to have confidence with so little info , is EMS better ?
April 17, 20178 yr I received a doc from Brazil ( supposedly by their fastest method , Sedex) took 13 days.I signed and sent it back by EMS , 6 days !.Don't remember the cost but similar to the cost when it was sent to me. Tracked it all the way back to Brazil in about 8 or 9 steps.
April 18, 20178 yr EMS inside Thailand is very fast, several recent such sends by me from Phuket to easternmost Issan in two days, same for return. This domestic has been very cheap, simple letter 37 baht. Overseas is a totally different matter. Has been 7-10 days Phuket to Los Angeles and NYC. Price for such used to be about 3-400 baht, major revision on the past year so now around 1300-1400, just a tad more than DHL for same.

I usually track all the way to UK then go on the UK Royal mail site using the Thai tracking number can track it to destination no problem. 15 hours ago, abab said: Why so wrong ? I really think you may be using the wrong option there is a cheaper service with tracking, need to ask at the post office. Surprising with your name haha.

April 19, 20178 yr Author I sent my letter yesterday. 70 g, and paid Thb 1080. The clerk said about 5 days so will be interesting to see how this goes. Last time around I used DHL which said 3 working days, but actually took 7 days and the sending, following the receiver was a folded and crushed envelope in the post box.
May 7, 20178 yr Author Update. The letter I sent took exactly five days to destination country...but there they was clearly not aware what EMS means so it was delayed three days until someone found out that train transportation not are fit as transportation of express mail service. Anyway totally 13 days. Felt.
May 8, 20178 yr We send a lot of packages within Thailand. The customer pays for the postage costs, usualy they pay for EMS takes usually 2 days. If its to bangkok (we live in KK) it usualy there the next day. However some want it just sent mormal no EMS and it seems they get theres in 2 to 3 days never more than 4. But the price diffrence is unreal sent two identical boxs to Pattaya one EMS 182bht one normal post 57bht.
