April 20, 20178 yr Combined Microwave and Oven (COMBO) Does anyone know where to buy a domestic combined Microwave and Conventional oven (COMBO) and any idea of the cost.
April 20, 20178 yr Samsung do them. But cannot for the life of me remember price....maybe lazada could help. I just checked. From about 6k up to 12k.
April 20, 20178 yr We have 2 of them, both purchased at Siam TV. 1st is an Hitachi ( combo + steam ), purchased a few years ago for about 16000 bahts, but has had to be repaired once, hence the purchase of the 2nd, a Samsung, a bit cheaper, I think it was around 10 to 12000 bahts. Sorry, not currently at home, so cannot give the references. Phil
April 21, 20178 yr We have one of these ovens. It's brilliant and the actual oven size and price is about the same as the free-standing low tech gas ovens they sell here.http://www.toshiba.co.th/product/Microwave%20Oven/158/ER-GD400C®%20.htmlSent from my Cray II supercomputer
April 27, 20178 yr Hi, scottiejohn May be it's too late, but depending on your needs I would suggest a regular microwave plus a small/medium/big oven. This might add to 3 or 4.000 baht, may be a bit more. And the money saved might give the family a big cooking experience...
April 29, 20178 yr Don't do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought one. A really heavy, expensive monster. Worked, but too many problems. I should have bought a big electric benchtop stove and a microwave. I bought a microwave anyway as too much hassle getting the combined one out of the corner to use it. If you don't have a BIG kitchen bench, it's just in the way. As for the cost- way too expensive. Could have bought 3 each of the alternatives for the price of it.
April 29, 20178 yr We have a Toshiba combination microwave; oven; steam oven, broiler; defroster, etc. Has worked perfectly for 8 years with zero problems. It is especially great at heating frozen dinner/meat pies/etc - you can use steam or not and both do the job perfectly. Purchased at Siam TV.
