This is a cultural aspect of Thailand, that send their kids and adults to spend time learning the teaching of Monk Hood.  Sadly, it seem to produce from my experience of living here does nothing but provide a baby sitting service for the parents. We hope and pray and sometimes we get surprised but the numbers seem to be against it this particular case.

I would imagine there were no amulets in the car, as well as no brain cells in there either.

...he blends in well with the cars soupy paint job...pumpkin head yellow.

Those short time monks are not the real deal, they're there from ulterior

and selfish motives, some even become monks to escape consequences

being a civilian, so it's not surprising to see those guys being involved

in many unholy activities.....

Your on the money mate those monk's are not monk's. They are just as bad as the Guy that's on Walking Street.

Very good sir! And thank you for the answer to my request.. The errant monk must have friends with cash, not a cheap ride, I believe.

Perhaps he might have fared less well in a "Nissan Nirvana."

he really should apologize to the car!

What about the tree?

Perhaps the Abbot of the Wat will take the opportunity to deliver to his sheep, flock...congregation... members of the Sangha a discourse on temporal 'Karma'.

I thought if a person had a monk in the care amulets are not needed

I had 3 monks in my car when I was side swiped by an old lady who drove out of her garden without looking left or right, while manhandling a sack of rice. They don't help much apparently. Old lady off course had no insurance.
