RIP Bryan 51 so young and still in his prime

It says a lot for many on here who seem to want to brag about their sexual powers and bevy's of young second-hand pincushions they exhaust every night. Truth is they get drunk or do drugs and dream and lie to even themselves. No wonder this place is full of liars as they have taught the locals to lie also.

When a life ends we do not need stupid people trying to tell the world how great they are in bed and it also gives the country its current bad reputation.

On a good note thank god you moved there as we do not want perverts here

How do you do that crossing out thingy? And my original post stands pat.

When composing your post you will see the cross out script symbol 4th from the left, after B  I  U. You can then select the word/s to be crossed out and then selecting this symbol you will get the resultant affect effect. But don't forget to deselect afterwards otherwise you will cross out any other words following.

BTW, I was not censuring the school girl uniform post (each to their own), just distancing myself by having my "uniformed" girl coming from university.

Too many uninvestigated and unexplained deaths of farang in similar circumstances throughout Thailand over several years by disinterested authorities is, I think, a valid educational experience.

I see very few reasons to swallow reassurances or promises from current authorities, particularly when it comes to matters dealing with personal financial  security or physical safety in society. Whether these matters relate to criminal activity and related corruption, work health or infrastructure, construction or even what ought to be basic, simple traffic control measures etc.  Lack of open and transparent decisions, the absence of integrity among responsible officials at any level, the power of greed and perpetuation of corruption - all seem to justify some level of paranoia among the  decidedly second-class inhabitants  generally described as "farang".in Thailand.

"Be alert, but not alarmed" seems to be fatuous advice against the backdrop of current political and social environment.

Yes.. before when it was a democracy in Thailand the police investigated everything.. it really changed for the worse and was real noticeable that when the army took over the unexplained deaths were treated so much different than before. :saai:

Come on the police here has never been good at their job and always took the easy way.. no need to involve politics into this.

Thanks for the crossing out thingy advice. I had always wonder how it was done.I was only joking about the uniform thing. Anyway Ive moved on to other avenues now.

I was in the hospital this week. My present wife had to have a finger set. While i was there i was looking at the nurses. The hats are quite sexy, they resemble the ones that nurses used to wear in the 40's. With a few changes to the uniform, the overall vision would be very acceptable.:giggle::omfg:

People die from heart attacks at even much earlier ages.  No mystery, heart disease, and a whole lot of other diseases kill people long before their three score and ten.

The cause may yet prove to be something else, but if he was on medication for heart disease, it's a starting point, and very likely what killed him.

I often wonder how much exactly is 3 score and ten. I am curios, english is not my mother tongue. Was it used in the bible ? where they like to keep you in a daze so you will continue to be believe. I may be wrong but when I read the bible I just couldn't make out some of the things they say, so this "3 score and ten" may be one of them.

Strange that a 51 year old Brit with heart problems opens up an English school in a run down shop house in some obscure sub-district and stays at the school with his 'personal interpreter' Khun Ziyago and her Japanese husband.

Yes, me too, I find it strange.

I love the time-honored Thai Visa tradition among members to instantly suspect any death of a foreigner to be a suicide! Surely we could rise above this and develop a different culture or tradition where we start, say, crowdfunding to help relatives of the deceased or with other costs. The whole 'farang-suicide-conspiracy' is entertaining but wearing thin.

3 score and ten is:

3 x 20 + 10 therefore 70, which used to be a rough guesstimate of the average lifespan.

I knew the saying but didn't know the origin of it so, thanks to my old friend Mr Google, here is some information:

And yes apparently it is mentioned in John Wycliff's bible .

I first saw the term in Shakespeare's 'Macbeth' a loooong time ago, but it does rate a mention in the Bible, Psalms 90.  See here

A score = 20, so three score and ten = 70, long ago thought to be about the maximum life span.  We expect much more now.

Edit

Sorry, after I posted I saw Andrew's post, saying almost exactly the same thing, and using the same quote.

Don't put the guy down. None of us know what motivated him to start these english speaking classes. His personal interpetator has already stated that the deceased was complaing of heart problems and he did not know how much longer he would live.

RIP to him.

"I love the time-honored Thai Visa tradition among members to instantly suspect any death of a foreigner to be a suicide!"  I thought this 'tradition' was that of the RTP, not TV forum readers.

He would have died of old age before he could see a specialist on the NHS

Wrong ,health care for heart problems is very good in the UK if it's serious enough,I know from very recent personnel experience . ECG to ECHO to Cardio Anagram to see Surgeon to plan op all took 6 weeks in my case, nicest
caring people I have ever met in this journey to the operating table

I admit i was exaggerating somewhat but this dates back to an experience that i had some 48 years ago when the NHS was supposed to be better than it is now. I had a serious car accident in Yugoslavia, 5 operations were needed in Zagreb. I still had a badly deformed nose and could only breath through one nostril. The treatment was free due to reciprocal agreement. The doctor in Zagreb told me to wait three months and then get the nose operated on in the UK. The NHS gave me a waiting time of 3 years for the OP !!! I left to work in Germany before the OP date. during a bad winter i had a bad cold which was made worse due to my deformed nose, i saw a doctor in Munich for some medicine to relieve the symptoms who then casually said i should get my nose operated on, ''I can get you an OP appointment next week if you want.''
