Unless they have always been ugly, most Thai girls have had that first Thai boyfriend from high school or University. In my many relationships, it has been very frustrating that this man seems to stay apart of their life forever. If you are away too long, she will be with this man. Even if you sleep with your girl 360 nights a year, it's like she considers that man her boyfriend and the foreigner is to serve 3 purposes - money, sex, or learn English. I feel like in this culture the girl never truly gives her heart to the foreigner.
