My wife and I will be staying near Asok next month and looking for restaurant recommendations in the local area.  Falang food is preferable but a west/east menu is good too.  

 

High- or low-end is okay for us so long as the quality is there.

 

 

 

El Gaucho Argentinian Steakhouse on Sukhumvit 19 is a good one. I last went a couple of years back, it's at the Sukhumvit road end of the street so very easy to find - that's if it's still there ! I know they have more than one restaurant.

 

Edit - It wasn't cheap but good quality. I picked up the tab which was about 10,000 Baht for the three of us but we had a couple of bottles of wine and you know what wines like in Thailand - overpriced !

I've checked the reviews and they remain positive and also checked out the menu and drinks list and seems reasonable to me.  The restaurant is also right on the doorstep.
