BANGKOK: -- A group of 25 youngsters from five Southern provinces arrived back at Hat Yai airport yesterday after a trip of a lifetime to England.

The group were chosen to represent Thailand on a cultural and sporting exchange that centered around preparing them for a possible life as sports people, reported Sanook.

It was the seventeenth year of a project designed to teach youth about the importance of being good people as well as being good at sports.

Meeting the group was former Thai national football star Adul Maliphan who is president of the organization that sent the children.

Highlight of the ten day visit to the UK were trips to see last year's Premier League Champions Leicester City, Manchester United and Liverpool.

The youngsters hail from Satun, Songkhla, Yala, Pattani and Naratiwat.
