Mr Suthee Keereedet (left), a member of Gov Norraphat’s administrative staff files the complaint with the deputy chief of Phuket City Police Lt Col Chana Suthimat.

PHUKET: -- Phuket Governor Norraphat Plodthong yesterday sent a member of his staff to Phuket City Police Station to report a Facebook page which has been used to impersonate the governor himself.

The complaint was filed after a Facebook page was set up on the night of May 9 with the name “Nopparat Nonthong” but using a profile photo of Gov Norraphat.

If ever a province needed a leader with such a resume, it is Phuket"

But six months later Prayuth as NCPO Chief ordered Governor Chockchai  to be transferred back to Bangkok, effective immediately  under the powers of Article 44. No specific reason was given for Chockchai’s transfer.
