KAMPHAENG PHET: -- Three crocodiles have escaped from a holding pond after heavy flooding in the Pran Kratai area of Kamphaeng Phet.

The crocs are now holed up in a fish raising pond owned by Sawang meuan-in, 48, in Ban Khao Kaew, reported Thai Rath.

Some 20 villagers were yesterday keeping watch at the lake worried that the crocs - aged 1 - 3 years old - might attack animals or even people in the area.

At press-time yesterday the creatures were still on the loose.

The area was flooded after runoff from the hills nearby.

could also be another tourist attraction ....  forget the dolphins .....  I can just see it now   !

Kamphaeng Phet  '  swim with the crocs  '  :shock1:

I don't think you have to worry crocs attacking anyone. They are in a fish farm pond. Happier than pig in s**t.

Doesn't this happen every year?

Yes,And if you shop the small town flea markets you will see the great hand made Crock purses and wallets from the results. Its an extra income for the locals.

Don't think there's any cause for concern, they'll already be on the menu

Just shoot the crocodiles. Skin them and barbeque the meat. What's wrong with these villagers?

Handbags on the loose?
