It has been a while since the president of Mahidol resigned for not having the proper paperwork...regarding financial disclosure... Also mentioned in that article was that 13 other university presidents are on the bubble.   What is not mentioned is the practice of many of those presidents on the university council or the rajabhat system that serve on multiple committees, which opens up to all types of ethical challenges.... YES have the council for the presidents, but to have one president working on committees for a max of THREE universities is a challenge for even the most well-meaning university president.  What gives, a president does not have to concentrate on their own schools, so they are contracted out and paid to serve on committees taking away their valuable time and efforts they should be applying at their own schools.     Follow the construction....

Silly, having only one job would mean they don't receive enough income to provide the standard of living their exalted status entitles them to. Or the University where they work would have to increase their emolument. Or they would have to admit they don't do any work on those additional committees that pay them so nicely (in accordance with their exalted status). What do Thai University Presidents do, anyway? In America they mostly spend their time raising money by licking the boots of alumni who have gotten obscenely rich.

Seems about the same, travel, study tours..... create work for the rest of this staff...Take "action photos"  on the job and working hard...  Work and monitor construction deals...

How do you define "work"?

For this group as a mystery...
