I have been told this by a well established business person on Samui.Of what I understand, it's due to the numerous pending legal actions by buyers, the investors pulled out last minute.

Alot of HK investors managed to go after the Agent marketing this project and seek some solution to thier potential loss .

Alot of press and a TV documentary on the failure of coco plus others has put HK investors off these kind of Thailand dream projects . Besides they are to busy making great returns in the local property market
