On Monday, 5 June, I will be going to Bangkok to do my 90 day reporting .       My friend was going to go with me to do his 90 day report too, but now cannot go.     Can I take his completed TM 47 form and passport  with  me and have it processed when I do mine?

Wow no response. Per Thai Embassy website (or authorize someone to file for you). It does not state how to authorize. I would include a signed statement from your friend just to be safe. Don't forget the TM6 arrival/departure card and the previous notification form. Both should still be attached in the passport. Just google (90 day report) to confirm my info.

Photocopy the friend's passport, have him sign it and write a note saying it's okay for you to do his report. That's more than enough.

There are people who send their favorite motorcycle taxi to do this.

I have been in the queue in Jomtien Immigration when 'someone' arrives just before me with 20 or so passports for 90 day reporting. A long, frustrating  wait was encountered.

Yes you can. And, if you live closer to Imperial World Lat Phrao..5th floor.. you can do it there..both of them.

They open at 10pm, but you should be in line no later than 9:30.

So can you go to ANY Imiigration Office. I thought it had to be the one where you are registered as living.

If you live in Bkk. For 90 day report ONLY. You can go to CW or Lat Phraow.

But next time...mail it in 15 days early...Cost 60 baht or so. 40 baht EMS..10 baht return stamp and the cost of the envelopes.
