rooster59
Myanmar hands over three murder suspects of high-profile case to Thai authorities By The Nation Three Thai women who were accused of murdering a karaoke bar girl and mutilating her body have been arrested by Myanmar authorities and handed over to Thai immigration police. Myanmar authorities handed over Priyanuch Nonwangchai, the prime suspect, and two friends - Kawita Rachada and Apiwan Satayabundit – to Thai police at the Mae Sai district border checkpoint at 9:30 pm. They were accused of killing 22-year-old karaoke bar singer Warisara Klinjui, and fled to Myanmar via the Tachilek-Mae Sai checkpoint in Chiang Rai province last month. Pha Mueang Taskforce Commander Col Kidakorn Chantra said the three suspects were being detained at the Mae Sai Immigration Office Saturday night. The case made headlines for weeks because of the gruesome murder and suspicion that the prime suspect was linked to a major drug ring across the border. darksidedog
That appears to be all the suspects in custody now. Given that Thais tend to sing like canaries when arrested, hopefully we will know the truth of who committed this vile crime shortly.
ezzra
Just as I predicted that those fugitives will not be able to survive long in a no man's land, plus I believe that those who were given them a safe harbor were probably were told that if they value their health they better hand them over... done.... Marley01
Bringing too much attention to those that don't want the attention. I reckon they were given an ultimatum by the drug bosses.

Ceruhe
Soooo, I have these questions if I may. How/Why does the Myanmar police get involved into handing them over "just like that"? Profile aside (haha I know good joke), why does Boss require an Interpol Red warrant and they are "waiting to find him before issuing extradition documents" yet nothing required here? Should Thai Police get help from Myanmar into locating Boss, despite Thailand obviously not needing any helpfor obvious reasons? From all I can tell it's 1:0 for Myanmar at any rate, disregarding (or more not knowing) about any past accomplishments. Is there really no team spirit among the outlaws?! goldenbrwn1
I maybe wrong as my Thai is hit or miss but what I took from on hearing my mrs and her friends conversation last night about this whole drama, was that Thais get a 7 day visa into Myanmar? And the police in Myanmar handed them over when this expired??? So maybe the police in Myanmar had already taken custody of them and were just waiting?? Searat7
The picture shown by one newspaper looked like a circus- I counted 17 people standing behind the suspects. At least Myanmar did the right thing and cooperated with RTP

NoBrainer
What's suppressing to me is they are not even wearing handcuffs. Desperate killers facing the end of their lives as they know it, and they are allowed to just sit calmly with their suitcases beside them, without any kind of restraints. Just1Voice
The killer girl's friends are going to turn on her faster than you can blink in order to save their own butts. All her beauty, sexiness and money won't get her out of this one. You look at her pictures and can't help but think - "What a beautiful & sexy young woman". But then realize she's like the Tin Man from the Wizard of Oz. She doesn't have a heart. To coldly go and buy a saw before killing the girl, knowing exactly what she's going to do with it, shows a level of depravity that is beyond reprehensible. With all that work she's had done, she's could easily pass as a ladyboy, not that ladyboys are not beautiful as many are stunning. But she's far from a natural beauty and just hearing her talk on the many utube uploads , you can sense straight away she's a wrong en.

FredNL
These girls weren't that smart. On the day that their 7-day visa expired they only had to go to Laos. They could have stayed there for 1 month. Then return to Myanmar and so on... Also thinking that their drug bosses would protect them is a kind of a fairytale. A drug boss doesn't care about their customers or someone in the distribution network. There are so many others that will step in the job openings... Thai way of thinking... Lucky Myanmar police had no problem finding them face book check points etc , but the girld wont be swinging , very grusome murder by the sounds of it. Maybe they could teach the thai police how do there job , not just prey on working thai people end of each month pay day , and corruption day for the fine police upstanding thai ploice force or lice :

IF the RTP haven't got the Burmese police help, by now the RTP would have caught 3 burmese scapegoats and tell everyone they did it. That is why the Burmese police armed with the sense of urgency of seeing their own countrymen being scapegoats acted swiftly and caught the 3 Thai lady murderesses. whatawonderfulday
I hope she is alive long enough to really sing and name the people at the top of the Thai Elitist tree who have organised drug importation and drug circulation dealing for decades.
