Bus Travel - Phuket to Hua Hin

Featured Replies

I wish to travel by Bus from Phuket to Hua Hin. I have not travelled by bus in Thailand before, so this may or may not be a good decision. Let's wait and see.

I am informed that the top of the range VIP Bus is the best way to travel. That suits me.

Any recommendations as to the best company with the most modern buses.

cheers.

Mini bus is the safest, cheapest and most comfortable transport option in Thailand.

Relax and enjoy your trip knowing that you are in good hands.

Mother Goose Bus Lines has 32 Seat VIP buses that leave twice a day. You should buy your tickets in advance because

Mother Goose is quite popular to Bangkok via Hua Hin. Enjoy your journey!

wrong on all three points.

FORGET the mini bus; take the large Aircon bus from Phuket bus station to Bangkok and ask to be let off in HH.

expect 9-10 hours ( I drive it often in 9 hours includes meal and gas stops)

I like VIP 999. The buses from Phuket to Bangkok go via Hua Hin.

Are you serious or just left out the emoticons?

Mini vans (especially the scheduled lines) are about the most dangerous public transport in Thailand.

I have used a mini bus on that trip three times.

The driver only crashed and killed some of the fellow passengers on one occasion.

So, on the whole, a positive experience.
