LONDON (Reuters) - The death toll in a fire disaster that destroyed a 24-storey block of flats in London was expected to rise on Thursday, with many people still missing and firefighters facing hazardous conditions as they searched the charred carcass.

Van organization committee confirms van service will not resume at Victory Monument

BANGKOK, 15th June 2017 (NNT) - The working committee on organizing public transport vans has declined the request by van operators to bring van services back to Bangkok's Victory Monument. Meanwhile, the new van terminus in front of Mo Chit Terminal is expected to be operational next year.

Mae Kha Canal Dredged To Help Reduce Flooding

CityNews – Authorities are busy dredging the Mae Kha Canal, following last month’s flood on the 19th-21st May that saw many parts of the city under water. While clearing the Mae Kha and the city drains is the responsibility of the municipality, many other organisations have had to step in to help the mayor, who seems to have left the dredging rather late due in part to complacency over the past few years’ drought.

Draft bill on Ombudsman sails through first reading in NLA
