Having said that I know people outside your nightclubbing age range who still enjoy clubbing. As long as the older guys, or older women are having a good time, the only person with the problem is you. A close friend of mine still enjoys clubbing and goes to Ibiza most years. He doesn't care what others think either.

very very true my friend...Ibiza is real fun, I confirm..nevertheless I do tend to prefer ,now and then the softer ambience of the dance bars in Tenerife to mingle and fringle with those chesty cuties who could be my (legal aged) daughters:cheesy::cheesy:....

and very true...people don't give a hoot about your age in a dance club....au contraire....they are glad and somewhat  envious as they themselves say it out....envious that their parents are not as fun loving as you may be despite your age!!

The type of ageism reflected in some of these posts amounts to discrimination. Just because some of you have a stereotyped picture of what someone who is older should be or you think should be- doesn't mean that in reality that is the case. I, for one, am age 70, been around Thailand for decades- never need viagra; exercise daily; don't have gray hair and am able to do anything you can do at Age 25.  The difference is I have years of experience; know things those younger don't know and have yet to find out simply because I have lived longer and had many more relationships.

Many Thai women are simply being upfront- they like older men because of their stability; monogamy and they have more money than someone is younger and wants to play around. Most of these women have children and have had a husband who has either died or the husband has run away. Some are divorced because the spouse was a drunk or a bum. The women are getting older (30+) and know their years  in the workforce are limited.

I see many Thai women with younger guys who are much older but they have told their foreign partner they are younger and the foreign partner believes them. Thai women age slowly. Shall I laugh at them and condemn them. I really don't care and neither should you when you see an older gentleman with a younger woman.  Get over it- It's none of your business.

Is that the same as what I see on girl's T-shirts; "No money - no honey"? Sounds like it. Do you think they understand the words? Did a farang buy it for them to wear I wonder.

interesting point and very true about those tight undersized t-shirt those cuties wear!!.....reminded me about a fun moment on the beach in France when I once saw a tatoo in japanese that said the equivalent of "little dick":cheesy: (translated by a japanese friend with us)....wonder if the bodybuilded guy on the beach who had this tatoo on his back, knew what it meant:cheesy::cheesy:....morality: never display a saying in a foreign language unless you are 100% aware of what it means!!!...a tatoo is even worse if you are not aware!!!!!!:1zgarz5:

The lovely girls here will only take everything you bring over here , compared to the horrible ones back home after a couple of years they get half or more of everything. I know where I'd rather be . mmmmm!!!!!!

my my...in reading here it seems that a local Thai cutie is nothing more then trouble...

Guys, if you hesitate with a Thai lady, why not try option number 2?...

a nice cute chesty expat farang lady, having already mated,  with grown up kids back home, sufficient cash flow from her previous divorces, looking younger then her age, tolerant with locals and their customs and able to entertain individual needs of booze refilling in the giant two door fridge, purchased with her saved coupons, from Home Pro?:cheesy:...

there are hundreds of them around Bangkok, Phuket or Hua Hin...believe me!!!

Did you really have to mention those women? I am still a toyboy in their eyes.

Who made you god to decide what's right and wrong? You have zero life experience, which is blatantly obvious from your posts, and here you are telling people what's acceptable. Every one of your posts has been a rant about old guys, money and prostitutes, you sound like some religious fanatic.

And everyone one of your posts you sound unstable.

You are delusional. It is rare that an older male is a "catch". Very rare. Celebrity, wealth, personality, physique et al,  are all  key attractants, but the reality is that the  overwhelming majority of  older Farang males in Thailand  have none of the aforementioned characteristics.  The wise man knows this and acts accordingly. When some  woman or  man  hits on me at one of the Bangkok malls, or in a bar it's not because I am awesome. I notice that no one ever  makes a pass at me  in the Royal Orchid lounge at Swampy or on the BTS. A gay waiter once smiled at me at a high end restaurant , but that was most likely because  I had spilled  red curry down the front of my white shirt.

There is a big, big difference between a  40 year old lady who takes up with a 70 year old man, and a 20 year old who  takes up with a 50 year old.

As for your comment that Thai women age slowly,  nope. It usually hits them hard in their 30's. Skin issues and  loss of connective tissue tone.  Look closely at a woman not wearing  cosmetics.

Define 'old'.

36 yo dude with a 25 yo --> considered old dude?

46 yo dude with 27 yo -> considered old dude?

46 yo dude with 46 to -> why would that be a good idea at all?

Old shouldn't start happening until you are 60+ and with the right approach to life you can make it later.
40 is still young.
50 is still young, if you keep yourself in good shape (as mentioned by a previous poster).

Many Western guys I meet look 10 years older than they really are because they are overweight.

So true. I am a bit overweight and I have been told many times I look older.

Actuality its you who is delusional, forget your all key attractions, its the trade between beauty and security, its as old as the hills and will trump your notions every time.

take away the money, house, car, etc... and the farang is next to useless.

As is any provider. You really think a husband in the west looses his good job, the house and the car is going to be wanted by the spouse? maybe for a short haul but not for long.

Yes 30 years but I get your point. A 40 year old would probably make a better partner than the 20 year old.

very true...as long as willy boy still functions, half of the job is done for us guys!!:cheesy:......

as for age....I have acquaintances of 30 who are real jerked up, sour, unfriendly, real not fun to hang around types...and others closer to my age, who well...ahem!....well are worse!! ......

and then suddenly come by, those aged 35 who are great, those aged 50+ who are marvelous and so on......nothing to do with age or what soever....

you have jerks at any age, and great people at any other age.......

as for gals, a 25 year old can leave you totally trolled and unsatisfied in bed...where a 50+ attractive lady could make you bounce up and down high on paneng in your pool villa:cheesy:.....

worthless having a busty cutie of 27 just to impress yer pals, if she is a dorky iced watermelon with we willy winkie!!:clap2::crazy:

Losing your job is one of the many reasons women divorce men in the west. It is not always like that, but frequently it is one of the reasons a marriage starts to fall apart.

No 20 year old makes a good partner. Not while they still have the ability to dream.

Well, it IS about money but not in the ugly way many people think.  Consider this.  I am an old gay man that has arrived at a point in life where I miss having a family, terribly.  I point out that I didn't play in my youth, in fact, I worked to take care of my mother and was there to help my sibling(s) and I also have a partner who has never held a good job so he always needed help, too.  When both my parents died I went through a crisis.  I don't know if it was mid-life or I was nearly on the verge of cracking, but I said to myself, "This cannot be 'It', this cannot be all that there is."  A lifetime of being hitched to the plow and nothing to show for it past a few material things.  I have had thoughts that parallel those of the woman who offers herself in exchange for looking after her family.  I have thought, "If you would just give me one child I would give you everything I have."  So it is not so crackpot of an idea.  I understand where this woman is coming from.

so if one was to resume all the brillant and constructive posts here, only a farang would be stupid enough to entertain his willy by financing the whole family?

what about some of the very fine thai men?   would they not accept to be the friendly household ATM for the entire family?

just wondering........? ? ?
