Visa Run After Non-immigrant Visa Expires

Featured Replies

Hey,

I have been in Thailand on a double entry non-immigrant visa that is due to expire in February, 2007. That means that in February, 2007 I will have been in Thailand for a total of approx 180 days on 2 entries of a double-entry non-immigrant visa.

If I do a visa run to the malayisan border in February does the above mean I will have any trouble getting a regular 30-day 'on arrival' visa when I try to get back into Thailand?

I have been reading confusing stuff on here about the rules with this type of thing.

Your advice is appreciated.

As far as we know you should be fine - but will know more in the next several weeks. The 90 day limitation is intended to be only for visa free entry and only those days to be counted. But we don't have real world experience yet.
