Jews did in fact fight back against Nazi Germany through armed and passive resistance. Several books have been written on this topic. The introduction to this book reads: Although the myth of Jewish passivity during the Holocaust has been thoroughly discredited in the scholarly world, it lives on in the popular mentality and is often expressed in such phrases as “the Jews were led to the slaughter like sheep.” The myth still finds its way into the media and often goes unchallenged. https://www.jstor.org/stable/j.ctt7zswcf You can read an overview of Jewish resistance here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jewish_resistance_in_German-occupied_Europe There was resistance to the Nazis both before and after the Warsaw Ghetto. Between 400,000 and 500,000 Jews fought in the Soviet Army, with deaths in action estimated at a whopping 140,00 to 160,000. A number of partisan groups operated behind German lines. The most famous was the Bielski group. https://encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/article/the-bielski-partisans Jews were active members of resistance groups all over Europe, particularly in France and Yugoslavia. Uprisings occurred at three extermination camps: Sobibor, Treblinka and Auschwitz. Three hundred of the 600 prisoners at Sobibor escaped during the uprising, but only 60 survived until the end of WWII. About 30,000 Palestinian Jews joined the British Army during WWII, with 5,000 serving in the Jewish Brigade that fought in Italy under the Zionist unit flag. https://encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/article/jewish-brigade-group The first pic shows the 1st battalion of the Jewish Brigade; the second is a Jewish Brigade artilleryman who has written "A gift for Hitler" in Hebrew on the shell; and the third is the unit's insignia and flag Thousands of Jews from various European countries joined the armed forces of the Allied nations. Jews who had fled Germany and other countries often provided the Allied armed forces with valuable intelligence information about their homelands. European Jews weren't afraid to fight, but they mostly lacked the skills and weapons to do so.
