BANGKOK: -- Cabinet on Tuesday approved an additional day for use or decoration of the national flag – His Majesty the King’s birthday.

 

The new occasion will be added to the current PM’s Office regulation on decoration of the national flag.

 

The amendment notes HM the King’s birthday, July 28, as a significant occasion for the public to raise or decorate the Thai national flag.

 

The amended regulation also cancelled the decoration of the national flag on May 5, the Coronation Day of HM the late King Bhumibol.
