RichCor
The AIS *222 Collect Call Service can only be used with other 1-2-Call subscribers. You'd probably need to use a 3rd-party calling card service to initiate a collect call from a mobile number. Also suggest looking these two posts over: Collect Call to USA from Mobile Started by wimpy, December 28, 2016 How do I make a collect call from my Thai mobile to UK please? CharlieH
For the sake of around 1baht per minute why not just phone them and be done with it.
ttl
As a matter of fact when taking Travel Insurance and MAKE A CLAIM OR GET ADVICE the specification is to call them COLLECT Another case can be where a prospective employer wished to take an interview by phone,a Collect call may be offered etc etc In a number of countries one usually dials ZERO for an operator assisted call Interestingly while in a city complex I posed the question to 12 phone selling businesses. Guess how many knew the answer. Not one of the 7 staff on the AIS stand had an answer Try their website ////////////////Try the call centre if you have a half an hour to spend
Argus Tuft
Calling Collect in 2017 is a pain and prehistoric. Why not add some Skype credit and use Skype (or some other app which does cheap calls)? It costs very very little to call anywhere worldwide
Richard-BKK
On a ToT land-line you can dial 100 for operator-assisted international calls or reverse-charge (collect) calls.
