I can respect this, "operators", statement that parasailing is safe (for all he knows), but I understand that seamanship, maintenance and common sense play a large part in this. The operator and/or customer, in my humble opinion, is lacking something here!

Anyone who claims anything is 100% safe is a person who should not be trusted.

To compare free fall parachuting with something like parasailing is a long stretch. The only similarity is that a parachute canopy is involved.
