Hello everyone

I overstayed my Non O visa 90 day re-entry stamp for 5 days as of now. The actual Non O Visa itself doesnt expire until September.

Im a bit panicked as i want to fly to another country tonight. Due to logistics it would be better for me to leave Sunday rather, than this evening.

My questions are this:

Is it better to fly and to pay the overstay 500thb/ fine rather than to go by bus/van land crossing?

I want to get this fixed asap but im guessing whether its 5 days vs 8 days (or whatever the days are up to the 90 day max)..its the same thing with the, issue of paying 500thb / day?

Much thanks for any help

A short overstay is not a big problem unless you get caught before leaving the country.

You just need to pay the 500 baht per day fine.

Doing border crossing normally not a problem but it can depend upon the crossing you to to. Also there is a greater risk of getting caught enroute to a border crossing.
