BANGKOK: -- The airports authority have responded to complaints of slow check-in facilities at Don Mueang airport.

They have relocated several X-ray machines on the third floor of Terminal 1 so that they are now located next to and connected to the check-in for hold baggage.

This facility will now be offered at check-ins 1-8 except number 3.

The number of X-Ray machines is also up from four to ten.

Daily News reported that the airports' authority hope that the change in arrangements will lower queuing time for passengers on

international flights out of the northern Bangkok airport.

Two of which will be manned by three operators (two sort of working while one checks Facebook for the latest Hi-So scandal) while the other 8 machines gather dust.

Total nonsense, from someone who flies out of DMK frequently.  Do you have nothing better to do than pedal stupid Thai stereotypes which have no place in this topic?

I was thinking along these same lines.  Hope they actually have people operating them during flight times and not have many closed down.
