This conversation was started from 'I wonder if'.

In the passport at times the full page sticker from Cambodia sometimes, on it's own becomes unstuck.

'If' you restick it on one edge and fold it would the page underneath be usable for Imm' stamps, wherever.

You obviously don't want to throw it away, an offence to remove any visa etc.

Just asking?

Not sure but it would not be something I would try. Too much risk of an immigration officer making a problem out of it.

I have 3 in my passport and the glue seems to give up after about 3 or 4 months.

Where is it stored, keep protected from heat and humidity. In sealed plastic ziplock when not in use.

That is a common problem with the Cambodia visa stickers. Been that way for several years. You would think they could use a better quality of glue on them. Have never had a problem with the Thai or Lao visa stickers even after my old passport got wet.

It makes no difference from the many reports I have seen about them coming loose.

Agree, no problem with visa stickers from anywhere else.

mine that came loose i kept, BUT i did notice, NO other country would stamp the page the Cambodian sticker came out of, each one had a slight reminder there was a visa there before

As someone already said, very simple solution, get eVisas, only available from the very same country with the poor sticker glue.  Use less passport pages to boot, plus you avoid the cattle call queue when landing at Phnom Penh.

Perhaps thinking if it was restuck then you would be destroying an official stamp in your passport.

What's more annoying is that most visa stickers take a full page of the passport and are well glued on, except some visa stickers to enter Japan which are only about 3cm X 3cm.

Malaysia even smaller.

Mine was loose also, so I removed it. I keep it in the back of my plastic cover for my passport with my passport. So if anyone asks, I have. The only country that it will matter to is Cambodia and perhaps your country of origin. You still have your entrance and exit stamp for Cambodia showing the entrance and exit out of the country so the visa is secondary. What would matter if the pages were damaged or not. Thailand wants to see your visa for Thailand and your entrance and exit stamps for Thailand.

Even with a full page sticker just have a strip of glue and then put related stamps underneath it and Imm' don't have to go looking for them in the rest of your passport.

Yes, I do know you can get an e-visa so you don't get the full page sticker.

I had one drop out and binned it. Next visit I was thrown out of the country at immigration.

Three I have in the passport I put a staple in the next day if I can just to cover that eventuality.

Especially if someone uses an agent or you have to leave your passport overnight in a Consulate or Embassy you might not notice its gone till the same happens as did to you.

I never had a problem with mine that were loose but I have read about others having problems.  What I'm looking forward to next time I go across border is the weird/blurry date stamp because the numpty stamped it the wrong date then tried to fix it by stamping over it another 3 times.

I had a visa for the PRC fall out once. The back was simply no longer sticky. I thought no problem and I could and did use the page.

However, when entering HK the IO saw the PRC entry and exit stamps but couldn't see the covering visa. She spent several minutes searching my passport and the computer before running her finger over the page that still had a film of glue on it.

She eventually stamped me in and gave the passport back but with a stern look.

I think if I'd tried to enter the PRC again I'd have had a real problem.

Best to get the Elisa  $10 more but worth it. I don't think anyone would have a problem as long as the entrance and exit stamps are in the passport

You should read post number two.

when i first saw the title here, i thought it was a joke; reading the detail shows otherwise; i would think the laos govt and it's immigration would see that this creates problems for their own immigration as well as quite a bit of frustration for their 'customers'; how hard can fixing glue be ?

When you use an e visa, I've had a few, they write e-visa next to the stamp in.

If they find an in/out stamp, that they always put in the adjacent page, they need to see the visa.

If it has fallen out it can cause you problems.

They get upset because they probably believe it was a deliberate act on your part.

That's why I always use a staple very soon after they stick the visa in.

Top two are e visa others are stick in visa stamps.
