Pattaya police arrest woman selling underage girls for sex

 

 

Pattaya police have announced the arrest of a 32 year old woman who was running a traditional Thai massage shop that was just a front for a brothel.

 

Station chief Apichai Krobpetch announced yesterday that cops had received word from a "good Samaritan" that "Miss Massage" on Soi Pattaya 13/2 were offering interesting "packages" to clients.

 

A sting operation was set up and an undercover cop was sent in to arrange something with owner Wiphada Namwiset, 32.

 

She said that they had various packages to suit everyone's pocket and personal tastes. She told the cop to arrange with the girl the price and what he wanted.

 

When 17 year old "Pheung" was presented for his pleasure the cops waiting outside burst in and arrested Wiphada.

 

Another girl named as "O" was also found to be just 17.

 

Daily News said that Wiphada was facing serious charges, while Tnews said that there were four charges which included human trafficking, soliciting and selling girls aged over 15 and under 18 for sex.

 

They mentioned that the undercover cop involved in the operation had offered 1,500 baht for the service before the cops moved in.

Jeez they do go in mob handed don't they .. Bit excessive for a Madam and 2 teenagers no .?  And the editing suite went a bit heavy with the pink crayon didnt they .. The one at the front now looks more like a mannequin ..

so lets all take a stroll down there next week and see if the place is still open and operating normally lol, would any Thailand news agency dare do a follow up ?

Good Buddha - these places fronting as massage shops and soapies are all over Thailand. But women peddling their (possible) underage relations (most likely uneducated farm girls from Isaan), is very sad. As for the girls, they'll probably be back working soon.

These Thais can be pretty stupid sometimes. Rule 1 : Don't give massages to Thai men in Pattaya. 

Definitely payments are not on time.

Agree . 

 This country is shameful and needs a total reform starting with mandatory education beyond grade 4, and job opportunities that pay more than 300 baht per day. Child traffickers should receive the most severe sentencing possible. I don't care if "it's always been this way". It's time to clean the toilet.

Another Farang who thinks they know what is best for Thailand - like Thailand gives a toss what any Farang thinks, and even less about their attempts to "reform".

 

Thailand will reform at it's own sweet pace and if 'we' don't like it then that is just tough.

What happened to the policeman's used condom? Used to be required by courts as essential evidence in investigations into foreign hookers. Maybe unnecessary for Thai hookers.

If the cop "offered" 1500 baht, then that would be entrapment.   For the bust to be above board, the girl would have to have stated the price first.   But then, this is Thailand and proper procedure is non-existent.

I don't believe it, people selling sex in Thailand with under aged girls.  Wash you mouth out with soap.

When yer investigatin' yer possible crime scene, be sure to check the victim's trash bin for a condom wrapper. In Pattaya you'll usually find one. Any experienced Pattaya dick knows it can be a source of crucial evidence, especially when it's discovered in his own gf's apartment. Size? Fingerprints? DNA? Could be key to cracking the case. But since the untrained local plod always overlook the evidentiary significance of the binned condom wrapper, the truth of a many a case can never be known with certainty. Just another reason to avoid pointless speculation.

What a good thing that most tourists only go to Pattaya for the temples, waterfalls and all the gorgeous clean beaches.
