Good on you young 'un, many here could take a leaf from your book.

I notice that our link was from a Lancashire paper, has this appeared in any Thai media apart from Thaivisa?

My Thai grandkids can all swim, indeed the youngest seems to spend more time under the water than on top. Their parents ensured that swimming was an important skill particularly as they live by the river (and learned to swim in it ). They do much better in our pool where one can actually see the bottom

"...maybe there should be more attention paid to keeping them safe from drowning and death in road collisions."    Agreed, but not while your butt or mine points to the ground

The difference between and 'educated' country and one that is not

36 billion baht on submarines plus more for aircraft could have been better spent in education! But the PM says, that spending is for deterrent effects! Must be the only deterrent in the country because there are no deterrents practiced in law and by its enforcers :post-4641-1156693976:

Well done young lady. We are all proud of you.

Like this . Plus add well done to the girl. Make Thailand schools ensure all children can swim. Good start to saving many many of their youngsters. The next generation!
