Qatar waives visa requirements for 80 countries, including Thailand

Qatar has lifted visa requirements for visitors from 80 countries yesterday to encourage tourism amid the two-month boycott of all transport links by its neighbors. Among those countries are Thailand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, UK, and U.S.

More charges, interrogation for bar girl murder suspects ahead of Aug. 22 indictment

The five suspects in the murder of Khon Kaen bar girl Warisara Klinjui, 22, on May 25 are scheduled to be indicted on Aug. 22, but before that, public prosecutors have asked police to perform further interrogation of the five in hopes of pressing more charges against them.
